American tennis and lifestyle brand Arthur Ashe is collaborating with UNINTERRUPTED on a new capsule celebrating the legacy of the eponymous boundary-breaking athlete and activist. The partnership is a natural one. UNINTERRUPTED, a media outlet and “brand by athletes for athletes” founded by LeBron James and Maverick Carter, seeks to “inspire those in sports culture to be ‘More Than’ through entertainment, product and apparel, social impact and events”, while Ashe himself famously redefined what it means to be an athlete, expanding his sphere of influence into political activism, social advocacy and even fashion. And just as the Arthur Ashe brand aims to connect Ashe’s relevant legacy to a new generation of socially-conscious dreamers, UNINTERRUPTED similarly empowers athletes to tell “their authentic stories without interruption.” Together, the two brands celebrate those who, like Ashe himself, aren’t afraid to break out of preconceived molds to speak up, affect change, and make the world a better, more equitable place for all.

The Arthur Ashe x UNINTERRUPTED capsule includes a graphic tee and fleece crewneck sweatshirt; embroidered caps; mesh gym shorts; and a stunning wool varsity jacket adorned with custom patches and embroidered detailing featuring highlights from Ashe’s legendary career. The original graphics include a “Change the Game” motif inspired by a quote of Ashe’s: “Don’t just love the game. Change it.” This attitude is emblematic of UNINTERRUPTED’s ethos: “In celebration of the game changers who transcend their sport to empower greatness in others. To ‘change the game’ demonstrates a dedication to a greater purpose and positive intent. Through his accomplishments on and off the court, Arthur Ashe continues to change the game.”
